Exotic Glimmerings began as an eBay store. I was inspired not only by the art of belly dance but also by a costume I purchased from We3BellyDance - the one pictured to the left. My work has also been influenced by Je'Sennia, the silk artist of A'Kai Silks. The costumes displayed on this site are currently all from We3BellyDance, but I am hoping to add some from A'Kai Silks soon!
I have been making jewelry for over 15 years. My philosophy is to create unique jewelry that is affordable and fits properly, as well as support other artists creating original works.
ABOUT THE JEWELRY
Exotic Glimmerings has several lines of jewelry, and carries the basic line, Elements, in the eBay store in different pre-made sizes. Most of the jewelry, and especially the body adornments, needs to be custom made to ensure a proper fit.
Many beads are also handmade, so each piece is truely a unique work of art.

The binty bells are handmade in India. come in a two sizes, and are plated with copper, brass, gold, and silver. The coins come from Egypt and are available in solid brass (the small ones), silvertone, and goldtone. Of course, all jewelry is also available without bells or coins.
A variety of pendants and centerpieces are available, and what I don't keep in stock can also be ordered quickly.
A trademark of my designs is to use various hues of metal (copper, gold, and silver), which not only adds to the beauty but also allows mixing and matching with other jewelry. To make mixing and matching even easier, a variety of shades of each color group are used so that the jewelry will go with almost any outfit or costume.
The beauty of custom jewelry is that you can have whatever options your heart desires, in an an exact fit, and each piece is an original!
