Events

The next event I will be vending at will be the Kismet Hafla on January 22, 2005, in Carrollton!  More information on the Kismet Haflas can be found at www.KismetDance.org.  I will also be attending a wire wrap workshop January 15 and 16.  This will expand the types and designs of jewelry that Exotic Glimmerings will be able to offer you!  Exotic Glimmerings was at Bahaia's Hot Texas Dance Camp October 14 through 17.  It was a blast, and I will be attending again next year.  For information on registering for 2005, please see Bahaia's site at www.bahaia.com.  I also have post cards that I can send you that will get both of us $25 off registration for 2005, so email me with your address if you are interested. 

In the Works....

Gemstone and crystal beads are here!  Pieces of the metaphysical line "Stones" and the Chakras collection are currently available in the eBay store or via custom order.  Gemstone jewelry comes with all the normal options, and you can also select that your pieces be made with gemstones mixed with the glass, metal, and/or bone beads or just purely of gemstones, which ever combination fits your budget and style.  The Stones line can also be combined with the Chakras line or a design can also be made based on the metaphysical properties of the gemstones and crystals.  Of course, you can just chose a design that is pretty and sparkly.

The Chakras line is based on the seven chakras.  Designs can be made with all seven chakras, with emphasis on the chakras that you need balanced, or with just the chakras you need strengthened.

I have also just received a large shipment of fancy beads from India.  Most of these that I have looked at so far are large glass beads in all sorts of colors and designs.  There are also some small and medium sized beads, but they are all gorgeous.  If you would like me to use some of these in a design for you, just let me know.

I will be designing the Empress body adornment soon.  I have also come up with two more body adornment designs, which will be made ASAP.  Body adornment designs can also be mixed and matched (standard design with Majestic belly drapes, etc.)  The use of coins and/or bells can also be mixed - see one in Jewelry Gallery III that consists of a plain necklace with coins and bells at the waist.  This is a very elegant look.  I am also working on a design of body adorment that will have a bra cover with beads and/or coins and/or bells.  If you are interested in either of these designs, email me, and I can make one for you. 

Watches are available via preorder due to the cost of the faces.  I have already made a couple and will be posting pictures soon, during the revamping of the website.

Hip scarf/clothing clasps are available, too.  These have been designed in coordination with Je'Sennia of A'Kai Silks.  The clasps can be used to hold a hip scarf on that you don't want to tie or pin and are also good for silk clothing, suit jackets, etc.  The clasps come in a variety of designs and colors and hold clothe firmly.  Alligator clips (shown below) or suspender clips are available on the clasps.

Another artist, that I am sure will be soaring to great popularity, I have just met in cyberspace on bhuz.com is Gigi.  She has an eBay store of Gigi's Originals and makes beautiful falls (hairpieces), costumes, and belly dance sole-less sandals.  I am wearing one of Gigi's falls in the photos of the Majestic Peacock set.  A link to Gigi's store is also on the menu above.

Waiting Lists and Orders
